A unique chromatic variation

There are at least six different definitions used as synonyms for referring to a particular colour phenotype, for instance, to goats whose snouts and ears are much lighter than the rest of the body and display a pigmentation ranging from black, pink to brown. A goat having these chromatic features can be named with at least four different synonyms:  muscardella, muschétta, starnuccia or cardéllaccia.  In the Ernici mountains (Ciociaria), this typology of goat is referred to as cardélla.
