Schooling by gender, residence and wealth

In Ecuador between 2009 and 2014 there was no inequality by gender (already) achieved in the 80s, type of settlement (rural/urban) or economic sectors for attendance to primary schooling.

Secondary schooling is also relatively high and slightly more among girls (83%) than boys (81%), in spite of the fact that early marriages are still prevalent in the country as a whole, where 22% of 18-year-old girls are already married or in a formal relationship.
