The bicolored goat

A goat with a white or light colour stripe around the torso is generally defined as fascetta , regardless of the coat colour where the stripe is located. On the other hand, if the goat is bicolour (the body front and upper parts are of two markedly different colours), it will be defined as cammisola. Generally, amongst this typology of goats, the most appreciated is the one having the lower part of the body of a black colour while the frontal part is white. Some pastoralists use the expression «trousers and white shirt» to define this particular colour phenotype.
