The economy of development is important

Amartya Sen, a Bangladeshi philosopher and economist born in1933, received the Nobel Prize for Economics in 1998 for his contributions to the economy of development of the poorest, based around the world of women, famine and liberties.

He proposed the inclusion of non-material goods like liberty and justice in the calculation of economic development, and proved that hunger was not due to a lack of food but rather to inequalities in the mechanisms for its distribution.
