Wine carafe made of wicker

Typical wine jug traditionally used in Galicia; it has a wooden base, on which the main body sits, made with interwoven strips (probably oak), into which wicker -bimbio in Gallego- strips are woven tightly. The inside is waterproofed with pitch.
