Territorial networks to defend land

Territorial networks to defend land, together with alternative food networks, are playing an important role in transforming the dominant agro-food system, which is delocalised and deterritorialised, by putting urban problems due to globalised agro-food systems on the agenda. In this context, the demands of such social movements are starting to materialise through policies of sustainable foodstuffs, following the signature of the Milan Pact for urban food policy (2015), in which over 150 in the world take part.
