Object for hygiene-health: basin (Spain)

Basins and chamber-pots were of different shapes and sizes. This one may correspond to what the Turolense guild regulations of1749 describe as pieces for common use, cylindrical or tapered containers with one or two handles. Cleaning and upkeep were the job of women.
