Farm tool (Equatorial Guinea)
Traditionally men and women have shared the farm work carried out, and so use different tools: men take out the plants from the land and plough it using axes, hoes and picks; the women take charge of planting, tending and harvesting using small trowels or hoes with a short handle made of wood (the blade is metal and varies in shape) to dig ploughed lands or remove manure. They also take charge of transporting the harvest, which is still mainly yucca, corn, yams and peanuts.
