Research and Cooperation with Development (Spain)
Stimulating research in the area of Cooperation and Development and making the scientific community fully aware of the results was a priority for the Conference Of University Chancellors in Madrid (CRUMA), which established a prize for the best team research and five prizes, including publication and distribution, for each of the five doctoral theses chosen for the chosen branches of science: Arts and Humanities, Health Sciences, Social and Judicial Sciences, and Engineering and Architecture.
The themes of the winning doctoral theses fit perfectly into the presentation of this virtual museum. As an example, we highlight three from 2011: in Arts and Humanities: “Local Sustainable Development. Its application from tourism management of a natural area”; in Engineering and Architecture: and in Health Sciences: “An evaluation of the nutritional state of the infant population of Ecuatorial Guinea and its possible link to Malaria”.
